Kakkur Online is a hyperlocal directory platform designed to help residents quickly discover trusted local businesses and service providers within their community. The platform brings together electricians, plumbers, taxi and auto drivers, restaurants, medical stores, workshops, and other essential local services in one searchable directory.

Built with a performance-first approach using Astro, the website delivers fast page loads, SEO-friendly URLs, and a clean, mobile-first experience. Listing data is managed through Google Sheets, making it simple to update information without requiring a traditional CMS. Images are optimized and delivered through Cloudinary, while the site is deployed on Vercel for seamless continuous deployment.

The project is currently in its MVP stage, with a focus on collecting and verifying real-world business data before expanding features. Future enhancements include multilingual support, automated listing management, business verification, advanced search, and community-driven updates.
